Faith in the Voting Booth will bring together Episcopal Bishop Gene Robinson and religious leaders from various faith to discuss the role of faith tradition in informing election decisions.  They will share their thoughts on when it is appropriate to act outside of the tenets of one’s faith and vote in opposition to that religion's views on issues. The format will be one of a moderated panel discussion consisting of Episcopal Bishop Gene Robinson, Roman Catholic Sister Jeannine Gramick, and Rabbi John Linder. In addition to this riveting panel discussion on Thursday night, there will be additional events planned for Friday and Saturday, including additional panel discussions, Love Free or Die film showings and the Phoenix Declaration reaffirmation. Sharon Groves, Director for HRC's Religion & Faith Program, will participate in the weekend events. The Thursday night town hall is free and all events are open to the public.
