AIDS Quilt Reception

For the first time in over twenty years, the International AIDS Conference will be held in Washington, DC throughout the month of July, thanks to the end of the ban on HIV positive visitors to the U.S. As part of the Conference, HRC is hosting panels of the AIDS Memorial Quilt in our downtown DC headquarters. These panels represent one of the world’s most powerful symbols of the public’s response to the AIDS epidemic.

HRC invites you to join fellow HRC Members, HRC Staff, and our Community Allies in commemorating those who have died of AIDS, as well as the friends, lovers, and family members who have fought bravely alongside them, in a reception on July 24th from 5:00-7:00pm in the Equality Forum of our downtown headquarters.

Light hors d'oeuvres and refreshments will be served.
