With summer winding down and the November elections fast approaching, the DC Steering Committee invites you for an update on the most pressing races facing our community on the national and local levels. Join other local volunteers, HRC’s Political Action Committee Director Mike Mings and the staff of Marylanders for Marriage Equality to discuss this historic election and ways YOU can make a difference in defending equality this November. Then at 7:00 p.m. we will phonebank with HRC and Marylanders for Marriage Equality. We will call voters and spread the word that Marylanders need to vote FOR question 6 on November the 6th ballot to protect marriage for gay and lesbian couples.
