On election day, the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community had unprecedented successes, achieving victory going 4 of 4 on marriage ballot initiatives (including here in Minnesota!), re-electing President Obama, and seeing Tammy Baldwin elected as the first openly gay senator...but there is more to do and we are not resting!
The Human Rights Campaign is recruiting skilled, experienced and successful people in the Twin Cities to join our local team and seize the moment by engaging in the fight for LGBT equality across America through our local, volunteer-led steering committee and programs - and we need your help!
We look forward to meeting you and helping you learn more about becoming a volunteer leader for HRC. You can personally ensure we have the people, resources, and visibility required to carry out our work to improve the everyday lives of LGBT individuals and families in the tri-state region and across America.
We want you, whether you are LGBT or a straight ally to learn more about this important effort. We invite you to join us to learn more about joining our strong, diverse and talented team of volunteers in the Twin Cities and make history in the civil rights movement of our time.
