Please join HRC in supporting Equality Virginia’s Day of Action January 29. Hundreds of fair-minded Virginians will make the trip to Richmond for a day of lobbying and workshops to help create positive change during 2013’s General Assembly. As 2013 begins, in Virginia you can still be fired or not hired for being lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender. Senate Bill 701 is being introduced to protect LGBT state employees – the first step to protecting all employees.
