Join the Human Rights Campaign and the True Colors Fund for a once-in-a-lifetime night on Broadway! On Thursday, October 10, HRC and True Colors Fund are hosting a special evening at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre where guests will be treated to a performance of the 2013 TONY Award®-winning BEST MUSICAL KINKY BOOTS and participate in a post-show talk-back featuring Grammy® & Tony Award-winner, Cyndi Lauper.

The winner of 6 TONY Awards, including a history making win for composer/lyricist Cyndi Lauper who became the first solo woman ever to receive the Tony Award for Best Score, KINKY BOOTS tells the story of Charlie Price (Tony nominee Stark Sands) who has suddenly inherited his father's shoe factory, which is on the verge of bankruptcy. Trying to live up to his father's legacy and save his family business, Charlie finds inspiration in the form of Lola (Tony winner Billy Porter). A fabulous entertainer in need of some sturdy stilettos, Lola turns out to be the one person who can help Charlie become the man he's meant to be. As they work to turn the factory around, this unlikely pair finds that they have more in common than they ever dreamed possible… and discovers that when you change your mind about someone, you can change your whole world.

Featuring direction and Tony-winning choreography by Jerry Mitchell and a spectacularly uplifting book by four-time Tony winner Harvey Fierstein, you won't want to miss this must-see new musical that proves that sometimes, the best way to fit in is to stand out!

Following the performance, guests will be treated to an exclusive talk-back, where Cyndi Lauper and members of the cast will answer questions about their experience with the production and share stories about their road to Broadway!
